Children Activities
Chatham Baptist church takes special interest in its children. We strive to provide opportunities for the community and our members to find positive activities to get kids involved and learn about Jesus. Below is just a few of the regular activities that Chatham Baptist Church provides.

Children's Bible Study

Bible Study Classes are provided for Children at 9:00 a.m. each Sunday. During Bible Study, teachers use appropriate Bible learning methods that guide children to discover Bible facts so they can apply them to their lives each day.  Our curriculum is designed into units of study rooted in the message of the Bible and interpreted in terms of children’s spiritual and developmental needs and interest.  Children learn to love God and others in a safe environment and through a variety of activities.

TeamKid

On Sunday evenings from 5:15 - 6:15 p.m., children in grades 1st through 6th participate in TeamKid. TeamKid is an exciting and enthusiastic recreation based discipleship class. Practical, biblical answers will be provided in a fun and interactive session of activities and games.

Children's Choir

The children's choir presents a spring and fall musical. They meet on Sunday evenings at 6:30 p.m.

Children's Meal

A meal is provided by parents on Sundays at 6:15 p.m. so children can take advantage of all the Sunday evening activities.

G-Force

G-Force begins at 10:15 a.m. in room 221/222. G-Force is an interactive worship and small group study that combines games, worship, and small group interaction for children in grades 1-5.

Royal Ambassadors (RA's)

RA's meet each Wednesday evening from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Some of the RA annual events include car races in January, and a track meet in the spring.

Girls In Action(GA's)

GA's meet Wednesday evenings from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Some of the GA annual events include a spring track meet and GA day in the fall.

Annual Activities

Adventure Week - Is held from 9 until noon at the end of June. Recreation, crafts, refreshments and Bible stories are part of the program each day. A musical is presented on Friday night.

Fall Festival - Held in late October. the Fall Festival offers a variety of fun activities for children from 3 years of age through 5th grade.
