At Chatham Baptist Church we are constantly finding ways to engage and challenge people to get involved and to grow in their relationship with the Lord. Here are just a few of the ways you can get involved here at CBC.

Bible Study

Chatham Baptist Church offers two Sunday morning Worship Services and two Bible Studies for all age groups. Bible Study classes are offered opposite of each Worship Service at 9:00 a.m. and 10:15 a.m.

Men's Ministry

The mission of Chatham Baptist Church’s Men’s Ministries is to provide men with tools to develop unquestioned integrity, godly character, spiritual leadership for family and church, and to equip them to share Christ through word and lifestyle. It is our desire that no man be left behind, but that all men can participate through:

  • Worship - opportunities to worship with others at CBC and events such as Iron Sharpens Iron, Promise Keepers, etc.
  • Fellowship - through such events as men's breakfasts, Wild Game Dinners, etc.
  • Discipleship - through men's Bible studies, mentoring, and accountability groups
  • Evangelism - reaching others through Bible studies, special men's events as mentioned above, witnessing
  • Missions - helping others through such things as volunteer construction, disaster relief, mission trips, etc.

For additional information concerning Men's Ministries, contact Brad Conley at brad.conley@juno.com.

Women's Ministry

Our Women’s Ministry desires to enriching the lives of women through small groups, conferences and social activities. Small groups are offered at various times and include Beth Moore studies, parenting classes, reading clubs, etc. We also provide opportunities for mothers of preschoolers to meet once a month to allow their preschoolers to play with their friends and time for moms to enjoy adult conservation. Please check the home page for classes being offered and the times they meet. Below are the classes that are ongoing.

Journey meets every Wednesday evening at 6:30 p.m. in room 226. Women of all ages enjoy the time of praying for and encouraging each other as they discuss their walk with God. A magazine called Journey is used as a resource for discussion.

W.O.M.en Crafters meet every Monday night at 6:30 p.m. They do mission projects as well as improve their abilities to sew, crochet, quilt, embroidery, cross stitch, etc. You can attend and learn the basics or teach others from your experiences.

Women of Hope meet the first Thursday of each month. Women learn about mission work around the world and lead CBC to do various mission projects. Check the home page for meeting places and times.

Music Ministries

We are constantly finding ways to minister to others and one of those is through the power of music.

We have a variety of ways for members to get involved in our music ministry led by David Durall.

  • Our Adult Choir practices on Sunday's from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. and sings during the 10:15 a.m. service.
