Chatham Baptist Church Calls Ahron Cooney to be Senior Pastor
Chatham Baptist Church has extended a call to Ahron Cooney to be their new Senior Pastor. Ahron and Kathy grew up in Pittsfield Illinois and have been married since 2010. They have three wonderful kids (Jackson, Lillie, and Grace). Ahron has served in church ministry for over 16 years as a student pastor, with the last 8 of those years serving Chatham Baptist in that capacity. He will now be serving the church as the new Senior Pastor starting this month. ​The Cooney’s have a heart for Jesus, a heart for the church, and a heart for others to know Jesus as Lord and Savior.

At Chatham Baptist Church we are made up of many persons: young and old; children and youth; men and women; married and single. We share common and unique needs to act on and pray about. We challenge each other to think about and use the talents and abilities we have to build up our church family. We learn, we ask questions, we hurt, we laugh, we give and receive, we reflect, and we want to expand our family circle for our new friends. At our table there are always extra chairs.
